Suzuki 1979 GS550EN Motorcycle

This 550 cc four cylinder motorcycles is in absolutely excellent condition. I had it shipped in from Maryland in 2021 where the seller said that he had bought it from a museum.  IMHO the 1979 E model was the best looking of the Suzuki GS550 models and I had been looking for one for years.

I titled it in my name and immediately sent it to a classic mechanic who rebuilt the carburetors, rebuilt both brakes, put two new Bridgestone tires on it and gave it an ignition tuneup.  I have a $900+ invoice shown below to prove the work.  It has a low 12,600 miles showing on the odometer.

The paint is lustrous and striping is nearly perfect, seat is like new, instruments are bright and working work brightly. Exhaust is not blued, rear pipes have no rust, sidecovers/badge excellent, rear deck excellent. It runs straight and true.  It shifts, and brakes as it should.  

I have just not had the time to ride it, and have put less than 500 miles on it since I purchased it.  I just don't ride it, and I have more modern bikes to ride on the street.

This bike is going to make someone very happy.
